Least Favorite Disney Movie
I may get dogged for this later, but I hate Aladdin! Yup. You read that correctly. Every time someone says, "Hey, do want to watch Aladdin?" I snarl a little inside. Yes, I've seen it a thousand times, I know all the songs, ("Prince Ali! Mighty is he! Ali Ababwa! Strong as ten regular men, definitely!") and I realize that Aladdin was a very important part of "tween" society when I was growing up. It was a favorite for every kid I babysat, it was a favorite at school (that was back in the days when tweens watched Disney instead of Britany Spears), but I just never got into it.
What Disney movie makes you snarl inside?

5 Comments:
"He faced the galloping hordes! A hundred bad guys with swords!" Thanks, I'll be singing that all day.
Okay, I like Alladin. Yeah, it's not as good as Little Mermaid or Beauty and the Beast, but seriously, it was a million times better than the ones they have now.
PHIL COLLINS HAS RUINED DISNEY!
There, I said it. Any Disney movie at all with Phil Collins singing dweeby meaningless mush in the background is completely not worth my time. Why can the characters sing they're own songs? It started with Tarzan and went downhill from there, and now I won't see Disney movies. They had a good run starting with The Little Mermaid and ending somewhere around The Hunchback of Notre Dame (though that one is questionable), but that's just over now.
Found a subject I'm passionate about, huh?
"I can show you the world, shining, shimmering, splendid. Tell me princess, now, when did you last let your heart decide?"
(Thought you might like that.)
A WHOLE NEW!!!! A NEW FANTASTIC POINT OF VIEW!!!!
Well you got me back. Now I'll have THAT song stuck in my head. :)
Nothing is as great as the Little Mermaid. That's modern Disney at it's best.
How can Aladdin get least favorite over the incredible boring ones like Bambi, Dumbo, The Fox and the Hound, or the Rescuers? Yeah, Aladdin's not my favorite (but I prefer Jafar to Ursula any day) but I wouldn't rank it as the least favorite Disney! At least it had Robin Williams as the genie, that has to count for something.
I admit, I liked Aladdin a lot more after seeing a stage version of it in Disneyland California Adventures. It was fabulous!
My Favorite Disney's (no order)
1. Sleeping Beauty -werid choice some say but it was the first Disney I saw where the prince had a personality - I was in love instantly.
2. Mulan -love the dragon
3. Lilo & Stitch - after insisting that I would hate it if I ever saw it, it became a favorite.
4. Beauty and the Beast - great music, story, ahh - love it all. This is what I think is modern Disney's best
5. Lion King - I don't usually like the animal ones, but I love the music to this one (seeing the stage version also boosted it up even further)
Yeah, I didn't like Lilo and Stitch either.
Here's some of my favorites:
1. Little Mermaid
2. Beauty and the Beast
3. Emperors New Groove
4. A Bug's Life
5. Toy Story
ooooo, ya got to
